I was in the market for a transitional piece to add to my wardrobe, that would be a good throw on layer over the top of my gym gear, as well as something for comfy snuggly Sundays. So when I spotted this HKMX Blogger Caro E Sweater, it was love of at first click. I loved the relaxed, cropped fit and the plush velour was giving me throwback “Jenny from the block” realness! And in the flesh, I was not disappointed.

Practically pretty and pretty practical, this little cropped jumper has been my comforter in clothing form since it arrived. The weather in Manchester has been prrrrrretty inclement of late, so this is the perfect lightweight yet cosy layer to pop on to nip down to the gym down the road and then popping back on post workout to stay warm. I decided to go up a size to have it slouchy and baggy which makes it perfect for layering, as well as not clinging after a sweaty session! The material is super quality plushness and is great for a lazy Sunday chilling out at home too.

As mentioned in a previous post about my new trainers – I love pastel nudes, so getting it in a jumper fix is heaven. I love the colour combo with the contrasting black pull through ties as it adds a bit of edge and makes matching with my other various gym pieces a dream.

What I also loved is the fact that the neck is wide enough to pull over your head without disturbing your gym hair do or wiping all your make up off. I find sometimes that many hoodies make the neck hole too small so you nearly give yourself a facelift when taking them off, but again this is just ideal! And who doesn’t love throwing a hood up over your head when there’s an unexpected downpour or you wish to channel your inner Rocky?

This jumper also has matching bottoms which are already being eyed up by myself personally, as who doesn’t love a bit of matchy matchy right?
