It’s September…it’s four months until the end of the year! Boy oh boy has THAT gone quickly. Now if you are after footwear that moves as quickly in the speed stakes as 2017 has – then look no further than the brand new trainer offering on the block, the Adidas Originals Swift Run Primeknit Trainer. Delivering looks, comfort and an aching amount of style to foot (yup, that’s a pun) – these trainers have stepped up to help you reach your fitness vs fashion goals. Hotfoot it this way to keep up fillies…

When these beauts popped up on Tessuti Women, I fell a little bit in love. I am a nudist…there, I said it! NO, not that kind of nudist – simply a lady that loves all things buff, peach, blush and nude. So when you spy the nude shoe porn of dreams in trainer form on one of your fave designer brands sites, it’s an “add to cart” kind of day! Especially seeing as these Adidas Originals Swift Run Primeknit trainers are an online exclusive too. I don’t know about you, but I always feel a great sense of achievement when I have nabbed something only a selected few other style mavens in this fashion forward world have managed to get their mitts on!

What I love in particular about these trainers are that they walk the sometimes tricky line between comfort and style, fashion and fitness. I would happily wear these with a slogan tee and gingham skirt combo as much as I would with my gym gear…and I pretty much have since they arrived! They are the epitome of sports luxe and I ruddy love them – period. Perfect for weekend jaunts as well as gym sessions, these have hardly been off my tootsies since I got then out the box.

Also, upon closer inspection of my new trainers, I realised they were even more magical. Just check out the colour detail weaved through the Primeknit sock of these Swift trainers…yes, there is a multicoloured layer of threads that Joseph only DREAMED his dream coat contained!

But does this style based Swift trainer deliver more than a fashion hit that will make your Instagram feed go OFF? In a word – YES! The comfort that I have found in these bad boi’s has not been equalled by almost all of the other trainers that are loitering shame-faced in my wardrobe. The unique sock of the upper is just game changing! They slide on like, well, socks (duh!) and therefore feel super neat and fitted around your ankle. By being made from a knit material, it also gives unrivalled stretch and also makes them breathable, unlike many other trainers. The sole is super flexible and extremely lightweight, so they are perfect for pounding the pavement  – whether that be jogging or beating fellow fashionistas to the sale racks! Also, I don’t know about you…but I can get irritated by the tongue on trainers as they seem to either rub or slide about. No such problem with the Swifts, as it has no separate tongue waggling about. Hallelujah!

What makes the Adidas Originals, so, erm, original is the fact that they take a look back to move the brand forward. These Swift Run Primeknit trainers are inspired by their heritage running styles but given a step up with new era technology. It’s a winning combination and one that I love having on my feet. I’m starting to get back into #gymlife and these have been the perfect partner to look cool whilst I have been getting hot! If you are wanting to step up your trainer wardrobe, then I think these are the ultimate addition, fellow fillies.
