Well, would you believe it – Summer is here and it is time for your new purchases to bloom and flourish! Yup – you need hot bargains that leave you looking super cool and are the perfect balance of on trend and permanent classic. I am always running about town – from one job to another, rehearsals to meeting up with friends, so I am always looking for items in my wardrobe that work as hard as I do. OOTD’s that deliver and that tick that rather awkward of descriptions…”smart casual”. When scrolling one of my favourite bargainista website’s, KRISP clothing, which regular readers know is my utter JAM, I spotted this blooming lovely little number in the form of their Flower Embroidered Longline Shirt. Unless you have been hiding in a well this summer, you will have seen the shops are veritably budding with bloomtastically embroidered beauts. T-shirts, dress, shirts, jeans – all are in full bloom with all kind of floral action festooned upon them! So this crisp KRISP offering was a no brainer! Especially as now it is on sale at the bargain price of £15!

This longline shirt, which comes in blue as well as white, can be worn full length as a great shirt dress with wedges or sandals or as I chose to – tied at the waist. On this particular day I was running from a rehearsal to a meeting to a meal with Nicky at The Refinery New Street Square (review coming soon). So I needed chic and comfy! Pairing this classic English rose shirt with yummy Jamie jeans from Topshop (THE perfect fitting high waist jeans that I have in EVERY colour), Converse, Ray Bans and my fave “carry all, toss it all in and look fabulous” tan Matalan tote – I was ready to shock and roll!

And the perfect finishing touch? Well, it has to be a healthy sleek of Vincent Longo’s Sheer Pigment Lipstick in Americana. Rich in rose red pigment and with a long lasting finish that feels comforting on the lips – I cannot be without this lippy in my bag. The transformative power of a slick of lipstick, especially in rosebud red, is the one of the easiest and quickest ways to change up a look from one engagement to another.

  10. Im not a fan of the shirt myself, just because i don’t often wear flowers. (currently wearing skulls haha) Love the jeans though.
