Listen to many a Queen Bee track and it’s clear to see the message is strong – value yourself, support others, work hard!  A mantra that should inspire your everyday with positivity. We styled up our day time look by adding an Aura LDN Statement Necklace worthy of the “Formation” video, a fierce piece of bling in the form of Cherry Diva’s Celeste ring from their new “Lunar Eclipse” Range and throwing a fab faux fur around our shoulders. Toughen up the look by adding some ripped jeans (these are from Topshop) and adorn your tootsies with those fashionista must-have kicks, Adidas’ Superstars, slick on a dark berry lipstick (we’ve used Maybelline’s Colour Drama Lip Crayon in Very Berry), braid your hair and you are ready to be irreplaceable!

A Diva Is A Female Version Of A Hustler:
All our women who independent, throw your hands up at us! Yes – we see you! Don’t go hiding that light under a bushel fillies. Embrace the “Independent Women” anthem to the max and you will not regret it. Being a lady that can depend on themselves and knows their worth is one of the most important life lessons we can learn as women. Be strong enough to support yourself and you will never have to settle for less than the best. Beyoncé is perhaps one of the ultimate examples of being a lady confident in her own skin and a savvy business woman. To quote the lyrics of her latest song “I dream it, I work hard, I grind ’til I own it”. If you want something ladies, be prepared to work hard, because something worth having never came easy! Then you will “Finally Be The Independent Woman Destiny’s Child Wanted You To Be”!

Also remember that Bey was part of one of the ultimate girl bands. They supported each other, they shone individually but they were all the more powerful together. As women, we should respect each other by lifting each other up, not pulling each other down. If you are busy bitching or bad mouthing others, especially your own friends…the issue may actually be yours. We have it tough enough as a sex already, so why turn on each other? That being said, if you find the fairer sex being less than fair to you – the problem is theirs. Don’t let anyone – work colleague, boss or so-called friend dull your shine! We get further if we respect our fellow girl bosses. Girls compete, women empower!
